Perfect Player - 

You can install perfect player on many android devices as well as Amazon fire TV's sticks etc....

After signing up to xStreamTV you will also be provided with a username and password,

​

Perfect player uses URL's and not a username and password. You must create a URL by following the instructions below. It is pretty easy to do, just follow along, we recommend you use a PC so you can easily COPY and PASTE.

​

There are two URL's below.  You must replace the XXXX with your username and then password in each URL. 

​

Copy and paste the URL's into notebook, email or word (anything that can be edited) and replace the XXXX 

​

Do not make any mistakes or it will not work.

These URL's are very long and will take a long time to type out in your device, to save time, you are going to shorten them using tinyurl.com

​

Go to TINYURL.com

​

Copy the 1st URL playlist you created with your username and password, and paste it into the Tinyurl website. 

Click on "Make TinyURL" and now you have a very short URL. This is much easier now to enter into perfect player

​

Repeat the steps for the EPG.  

​

Once complete you can use these two new short URL's by entering them into Perfect player, instruction where to enter them are below.

Setting up perfect player

Open Perfect Player

Open Perfect Player Settings Menu (cog icon)

Select General

Select Playlist 1

Enter the TINY URL you received (CHECK FOR TYPOS)

Give the playlist a name…xstream for example

Select OK, Select EPG 1

Enter the URL for the EPG (CHECK FOR TYPOS)

Change download if no data on current date to Download once a day (drop down menu click on little triangle)

Select OK. Press Back Twice

Press the 3 line button on remote or c on keyboard or press menu or touch screen touch little square icon top left

Change Epg Show Epg

channels may not work until you change the decoder setting depending on your device, if they do not play. Click the back button and select the cog Icon, select playback,

select decoder. Each device is different but try HW+ first, if problems, try Hardware or other etc.....

If all steps have been done correctly and there are no typos you should have a Channel List and EPG

If it doesn’t load a Channel List or EPG the corresponding URL has a typo you have done it wrong
